Harry Styles is celebrating the miracle of life.
The Grammy Award winner, 28, helped a pregnant woman named Sidney announce the gender of her unborn child from onstage Friday during his 15-night residency at the Kia Forum as part of his Love on Tour.
“She is about to do the single most difficult thing in the world. I’m confident everything will be fine. The most beautiful thing in the world to do. And it will be…” Styles teased the audience in a TikTok video, ensuring that Sidney, who is four months pregnant, wanted to learn the news in that manner.
He said, “This is a Friday night you will never forget, Los Angeles. Let’s get started. Could you please send me some tense gender reveal music?”
As the band provided a soundtrack, Styles continued to tease his fans and work up a drumroll. He sang, “I know something you don’t know.”
“This is known as edging,” he joked as he continued to dance to the music before finally declaring, “It’s a… GIRL!”
The Harry’s House singer has been known to help his fans with major announcements at his shows, most recently assisting a concertgoer in the United Kingdom to come out in June after seeing their sign in the audience that read: “From Ono to Wembley: Help me come out.”
Styles previously canceled several shows during his L.A. residency due to the flu. “I’ve been doing everything I can to be able to sing tonight,” he said last week. “But I’m leaving the doctor now, and I’m heartbroken that it’s just not possible.”
“I haven’t had to cancel a show due to illness in the 12 years I’ve been touring,” Styles added. “I’m really sorry to have to do it, and if there were any way I could do the show, I would.”
