The actor and Dunkin’ super fan surprised customers at a Medford, Mass. location. The Boston native, 50, made an unexpected appearance at a Dunkin’ Pastries drive-thru in Massachusetts to serve the breakfast chain’s coffee and donuts.
The devoted Dunkin’ fan was dressed in an employee uniform, complete with a black visor and matching shirt that stated “America runs on Dunkin’.”
Fans were surprised when Affleck pulled up to take their orders. According to one client, the actor returned their money and gave them free drinks and food.
Lisa Mackay, a customer at the Medford, Massachusetts, store, told NBC 10 Boston that Affleck was “quick-witted and funny” while working as an employee for the day.
Bostonians love their Dunkin’ coffee, and the two-time Academy Award winner is no exception. He is frequently seen in public drinking Dunkin’ coffee.
In 2019, he spoke with Collider about having Dunkin’ in L.A. “It’s amazing! I have Dunkin’ Donuts every day. It’s very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, ‘Where is that? Is that near here?’ So, I feel like I’m spreading the word.”
