At the Bullet Train Los Angeles premiere on Monday, Brad Pitt showed off a few dance steps, and we have to admit, it’s a side of the actor we haven’t seen in a while. The 58-year-old actor appears to be having the time of his life, as seen by his recent unconventional costume choices and his happiness on the red carpet.
As per Yahoo, the Jolie-Pitt family has been dancing quite a bit this summer. Perhaps Pitt wanted his own moment in the spotlight after watching ex-wife Angelina Jolie perform the electric slide at Spelman College and his daughter Shiloh, 16, become viral for her hip-hop routines. He acknowledged, though, that he just lacks his teenage daughter’s grace.
“I don’t know where she got it from. I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet here,” he joked to Entertainment Tonight.
The Oscar winner is “living his best life under the circumstances,” according to a People source, and Shiloh is making him proud.
His bitter divorce with Jolie, a custody dispute, and a legal dispute over ownership of the former couple’s Château Miraval winery have taken up the last six years of his life. Let’s just say that he hasn’t had a good time.
He had hinted to the media that he would stop acting in the upcoming years, but he reaffirmed his position to Deadline. “I was just saying, ‘I’m past middle age and I want to be specific about how I spend those last things however they may be,’” he shared.
“I’ve never been a five-year plan kind of guy. I’m just, doing whatever feels right for the day. I still operate that way.” That newfound spontaneity may explain his sudden bold color choices and a goofiness that’s been hidden away for some time — Pitt is living in the moment and enjoying it every step of the way.
