Nicole Snooki Polizzi is opening up about news that goes far beyond reality TV. The Jersey Shore star, 38, revealed in a TikTok video that she has been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer.
She said the diagnosis came after a recent cone biopsy confirmed early stage adenocarcinoma. Sitting with the weight of the news, she told followers, “It came back stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma,” she said with a big sigh. “Obviously not the news I’ve been hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God!”
That sense of relief is tied to timing. While any cancer diagnosis is frightening, doctors caught hers early, which significantly improves the outlook for treatment. Polizzi explained that she has dealt with abnormal Pap smear results for several years, something many women can relate to but may not always take seriously. Now, she is using her platform to push a clear message about staying on top of routine screenings.
She warned that putting off checkups can allow the disease to progress into later stages, which often require more aggressive treatments like chemotherapy and radiation. Early detection, she stressed, can make all the difference.
Next up, Polizzi will undergo a PET scan and meet with an oncologist to see whether the cancer has spread. Depending on those results, she is considering a hysterectomy. She shared that doctors advised it as the most effective treatment option and said it may allow her to keep her ovaries.

Beyond the medical details, Polizzi spoke candidly about the emotional toll of hearing the word cancer. She encouraged women facing similar health scares to seek support and to talk openly about what they are going through.
The author of A Shore Thing first told fans in January that she needed further testing. After follow up procedures, she confirmed the stage 1 diagnosis, choosing to share the news directly and honestly with the millions who have followed her journey for years.
