Justin Baldoni’s father, Sam Baldoni, has publicly stood by his son during his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively, using a heartfelt birthday tribute to express both pride and what appeared to be a quiet protest against what he suggested was an “injustice.”
Sam marked Justin’s 42nd birthday with a long, emotional post on Instagram, sharing personal memories and offering strong support for the actor at a time when public attention remains focused on the legal case surrounding him. While he did not directly address the lawsuit, the tone of the message made clear that the family views this moment as difficult.
“I am so proud of my son for the man he has become and how he never stops learning about life, about love, about family and friendship and about how to show up for the people he cares about most,” Sam wrote at the beginning of his tribute.
He then reflected on the day Justin was born, sharing an intimate story about the experience. “Being a new dad, I had no idea what to expect when Justin was born. His birth (our first) was not easy. [My wife] Sharon spent 34+hours in labor and we ended up having a cesarean. As a result, I got to hold him first and was able to put his little face against his mom’s cheek.”
Sam described the moment as deeply emotional and spiritual. “It was a spiritual, very exhilarating close to God kind of experience. This little guy filled our home with such joy all those years ago and to this day his presence lights up not only our lives, but all those around him.”
Beyond celebrating his son, Sam also praised Justin’s wife, Emily Baldoni, calling her “his truly perfect partner,” and highlighting the importance of their relationship during a challenging period for the family.
Justin’s mother, Sharon Baldoni, also shared her own tribute, which carried an even clearer reference to the legal situation. “I never imagined I would see the words, ‘Justice for Justin’ from people all over the world in support of my son. I thank you all from the depths of my soul to those who have championed him to this point in these difficult times,” she wrote.
The public messages from both parents suggest a family rallying together as the case moves closer to court. The trial of Blake Lively’s legal case against Justin is currently scheduled to begin on May 18.
While the legal process will ultimately determine the outcome, the Baldoni family’s tributes offer a glimpse into the personal side of the situation, showing parents who remain firmly in their son’s corner and determined to support him both privately and publicly.
