Actor and musician Maya Hawke has officially tied the knot with singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson, celebrating their marriage with a Valentine’s Day ceremony at St. George’s Episcopal Church in New York City.
The intimate but high-profile wedding attracted plenty of attention, with several major names in attendance, including Hawke’s famous parents, actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. Photos from the day captured Ethan Hawke walking his daughter down the aisle, holding a bouquet of white flowers, and wearing a classic black suit.
Thurman was also spotted arriving for the ceremony in a light blue floral outfit, joining family and close friends for the special occasion. After the church ceremony concluded, Hawke and Hutson continued the celebration with a reception at The Players’ Members Club in Manhattan.
Guests reportedly stayed for hours as the couple marked the start of their married life surrounded by loved ones and familiar faces from the entertainment world, per People Magazine.
The wedding also turned into a sort of Stranger Things reunion. Multiple cast members from the hit Netflix series were present to support Hawke, including Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, Natalie Dyer, and more. Other actors, including Sam Nivola and Kathryn Newton, were also seen attending the event.
Hawke, known for her standout role as Robin Buckley on Stranger Things, has steadily built her career as both an actress and a musician. Alongside acting roles in projects like Do Revenge, she has also released multiple music albums, earning recognition for her songwriting and indie-pop sound.
Hutson, a respected singer-songwriter in his own right, has been closely tied to Hawke’s musical journey. The two have been romantically linked since 2023, but their connection goes deeper than their relationship. They have collaborated on several creative projects over the years, often working side by side in the studio.
Hutson contributed to Hawke’s albums Moss and Chaos Angel (2024), while Hawke also lent her vocals to Hutson’s album Paradise Pop. 10. Their partnership extended to the stage as well, with Hawke joining Hutson during performances on his 2025 tour.
Although they were first publicly linked in 2023, the couple officially confirmed their relationship when they attended the Broadway opening of John Proctor Is the Villain in April 2025. Reports note that Hawke and Hutson had been friends for several years before their relationship became romantic, suggesting their bond grew naturally over time.
Hawke has previously spoken positively about dating someone who was once a close friend, noting the comfort and understanding that can come from a long-established connection.
Now, with their Valentine’s Day wedding behind them, Hawke and Hutson are beginning a new chapter that blends both their personal lives and their shared creative world, celebrated in the company of family, friends, and fellow stars.
